rpGatta Designed and Built a Custom Robot Arm
We came across an application where a commercial multi-axis robot did not have the reach or payload that was required. To solve this we designed a multi-axis robot arm to perfectly fit our application. We designed the components based on commercial multi-axis robots, ran FEA on the links, created efficient cable management routes, and utilized standard Siemens Sinumerik software for the motion control and kinematics. We are hoping to design and build more custom robot arms in the future!
